We will be riding through the Anderson County BURGOO Festival on the way to Richmond KY for a Civil War Reenactment of the "The 1778 Siege of Boonesborough" that Tony B. told us about.

The town of Lawrenceburg is the little town we ride through on the way to the Crazy Marys Scooter Rally each year and I always see the banners talking about the Burgoo Festival. I keep wanting to come back and never do. I thought if we could kill two birds with one stone. The rides destination is at Ft. Boonesborough in Richmond roughly as far as Lexington.

Arrive with full gas tank at the below location and time.

Meet    : 09:45AM Sharp (Saturday Sept. 27th 2014)
Duration  : Return late afternoon.
Ride    : 10:00AM Kick stands up
Location: (Waffle House)
                        7715 Bardstown Road
                        Jefferson, KY 40291
Type    : Ride will be a 50MPH-55MPH sustained ride.
Difficulty : Novice but lots of fun.
Stops   : Burgoo Festival Lawrenceburg, KY and Ft. Boonesborough Siege Civil War Reenactment
*You buy your lunch/snacks

Is anyone going to this weeks (Oct 8, 2014) meetup @ BBG?

I'll be leaving my apt. around 6:30ish to miss the evening rush hour traffic and should get to BBG around 7ish pm.  Unless the group wants to go for a ride earlier than that.  Just let me know via here or give me a call.
Last week Ct, Archman and I went for a late night ride through Cherokee & Iroquois parks witch was fun.  Maybe this week?

Note:  Can't wait for the Campo

I am still planning the Saturday Ride like we discussed Wednesday night. I will post more details later this evening. It will likely be riding through the Anderson County BURGOO Festival on the way to Richmond KY for a Cival War Reenactment that Tony B. told us about. I am having a little trouble finding the details about the reenactment but stay tuned.
